Door Entry

EASY TO USE BY DISABLED PERSON TO ALLOW ACCESS TO PREMISES CAN BE LINKED TO EXTERNAL CAMERA TO ALLOW VIDEO VERICIFICATION OF ID CARDS

These TV Kits offer connection from a door entry system to a standard SCART socket found on most of today’s televisions. This provides a simple means of controlling access to the house from the comfort of an armchair.

The basic kit includes a surface or flush door panel complete with integrated speech amplifier, call button and a colour camera with back lights. At the other end of the system there is an audio telephone with a lock release button, a power supply unit and the scart interface.

The operation of the system is quite simple. A call is activated by pressing the button at the door. The television will then automatically switch to its AV channel to show a colour picture of the caller. At the same time, the audio telephone will ring and answering it will enable two way speech and the option to press the lock release button. When the call ends, the television will automatically switch back to the previous channel

REMOTE CONTROL DOOR ENTRY

Designed for the elderly and people with a disability, this unit replaces the conventional telephone handset with an infrared remote control. The control is used for speech and door operation.

The unit will operate on all Sentry door entry products and can also be supplied as a one-to-one door entry kit. A maximum of three apartment stations can be installed within any one dwelling.

Simplex door entry system which works on a "press to talk" - " release to listen" basis. This is a loudspeaking door entry system offering good speech volume. This has been adapted to facilitate the needs of clients that not only have difficulty in lifting and holding a handset but who have limited ability to press and hold a switch or button.

  • Pressure sensitive operation.
  • Wall or desk mounted.
  • Remote operation.
  • Wide area audible operation.
  • Can be integrated with many Nurse Call and Indicator accessories for use in Sheltered Housing Projects.

The pressure sensitive apartment station requires comparatively light pressure by the user over a wide area switch. There are two separate pressure switches, one to enable speech the other to release the door. The switches are large enough so that people with various disabilities can use the system with ease. The pressure switches are separated by the speech grille, thus reducing the chances of activating the speech and release functions simultaneously. The client can apply this pressure with perhaps the side of the hand or maybe a blunt object.

The apartment station can be wall or desk mounted, and this system has in the past been adapted to operate via foot operated pressure switch (non-standard special application order only). The units have been well received by Local Authorities, Occupational Health Departments and other organisations dealing with the disabled.

This system can be adapted for use by people with mobility problems. It is possible to operate the units remotely, via a hand held transmitter. The speech volume is such that the user can operate the unit from across a normal sized domestic room, hearing and being heard by the person at the door. There is also a version of the apartment station available that can be used to replace some conventional handsets. Thereby offering this facility to one person in a multidwelling unit where a conventional speech door entry system is already installed.

Alarmfix also has a range of Indicator panels that are widely used for Nurse Call applications, Disabled Toilet Alarms, Panic alarms etc.. In addition there is our range of timed flashing light indicators that are useful for alerting the heard of hearing to a visitor at the door.
