Telephone connected systems The Alarmfix Door Telephone interfaces a standard door entry system to home telephones or an office exchange enabling the user to answer and open the door from any phone (including cordless/dect phones). • Easy operation - just lift any phone handset to talk to visitor and press a specified key sequence to open door.
• On PABX systems a single extension or a group of extensions can be programmed to answer calls from the door entry panel. The system can be fitted to a remote site and programmed to call a landline or mobile number.
Audio entry panels connected via telephone lines for Retro fit or difficult installations. Where the audio entry installation is to be carried out after the building is completed or as an additional facility for security or access control, it is often very expensive to install wiring. A telephone based system overcomes this. A telephone line or analogue extension is installed adjacent to the Gate or Door and a specialist system is installed. This is pre-programmed with the telephone numbers of the occupants, and visitors use the entry panel exactly as a standard entry panel. The call is made directly to the resident's telephone and the resident can speak to the visitor and can press a button to release the gate or door to allow access.
Alarmfix can offer a range of decorative or vandal resistant panels, Available as standard in brushed stainless steel or to special order, in un-lacquered polished brass or mirror polish stainless steel or Bronze finish.
These panels are available in the standard
formats, or can be completely manufactured to suit a specific project or
customer requirement we can incorporade keypad access or proximity
readers into the system.
ANY SIZE OR SHAPE CAN BE PRODUCED LET YOUR IMAGINATION RUN WILD
Additional features such as coded
access and proximity card control can be combined with any of the
standard audio or video formats. Panels are available with either flush
fitting or surface mount options. All panels can be engraved to suit
customer requirements and can be interfaced to existing access control
systems. |

A DIFFERENT CONCEPT IN OFFICE DOOR ENTRY
The telephone interface can be connected to a corporate switchboard (PABX). In this case, it is identified by its internal number, in the same way as all the other telephone sets
controlled by the PABX. This means that the entry panels are able to call one or more of the telephone sets in the system as well as external numbers.
The interface can also be connected to a conventional telephone line. In this case, it is identified by the telephone number of the line. The entry panels are then able to call one or more telephone numbers even mobiles (residents, wardens, remote surveillance, etc.).No need for separate door entry handsets or monitors. The camera is connected to your network and a shortcut on the desktop will enable users to view the caller at the door
THE UNIT IS PROGRAMMED TO RING AN EXTENSION NUMBER. THE CAMERA IS CONNECTED TO YOUR COMPUTER NETWORK AND UP TO 20 USERS CAN SIMULTANEOUSLY BE LOGGED ON TO THE CAMERA THE RECEPTIONIST WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THE CALLER AT THE DOOR ON THEIR COMPUTER. MOST PABX SYSTEMS CAN HAVE A HUNT GROUP SET UP SO THAT ANY CALL TO THIS EXTENSION WILL BE ABLE TO RING A NUMBER OF EXTENLSIONS

Different versions of entry panels (from 1 to 12 buttons, 1 button and a 9-key keypad, etc.)can be connected to the interface, thus providing a complete range of voice-activated access control systems..
