The Alpha Audio range of equipment was the first to be developed by Kallglobe in the mid 80s with the range now covering the full spectrum of audio & visual door entry systems. The Deca range of access control products are the main stay of Kallglobe's Digital Keypad access, Mag Swipe Card access and Proximity Tag access systems from basic standalone controllers to fully networked PC controlled multi door systems.

The Pro Vandal series of door entry & access systems are the latest addition to the Kallglobe portfolio, and have been specially developed to provide a low cost but effective access control solution that meets the needs and cost criteria of the educational, local authority and health authority markets.

 

AUDIO (STANDARD) - The Alpha Audio system is our standard but extremely successful range of audio door entry equipment utilising aluminium door panels with moulded ringing buttons. Systems are in kit form for up to 32 flats and all systems are available surface or flush with or without a tradesmen's facility. Alpha range systems run either 12VAC or DC and are ideal for battery backup. A full range of accessories and add-on's are available (ie) Weather Shields, Flushing Bezels, Private Speech Modules, Multi Entrance Switching Units, Timers, Relays, Extension Sounders, Additional Handsets, Flashing Strobe's etc. making the Alpha audio system one of the most flexible and cost effective products on the market today.
AUDIO (VANDAL) - The Alpha Audio vandal resistant range has been developed to meet the demanding conditions experienced on some local authority and housing association sites. The systems are based on the standard Alpha Audio equipment but use rugged stainless steel door panels and ringing buttons. As with the standard Alpha Audio systems the full range of accessories may be used, including zinc plated and powder coated steel surface boxes. The grained stainless steel finish with engraved numbering also makes this range ideal for use in today's architectural designs. Polished brass panels are also available and a special design service allows for any number of buttons and integration of proximity tag readers.
AUDIO (VANDAL NAME-VIEW) - The new Alpha Audio Vandal Name-View systems have been developed in response to the growing demand for vandal resistant door panels that allow the tenant's to include their name tag behind a secure polycarbonate name window. The systems are based on the Alpha Audio Vandal equipment using rugged stainless steel door panels and ringing buttons. Available in kit form for up to 17 flats with normal grained stainless steel, polished brass and our new "Chrome-Effect" polished stainless steel door panels. Special panel designs are available to order and the full range of Alpha accessories and add-on's may be used, including our vandal resistant zinc plated and powder coated steel surface back boxes.
AUDIO (LOUD SPEAKING) - The Alpha Audio Loud Speaking door entry system has been developed in response to market demands for a loud speaking apartment station compatible with full duplex Alpha Audio handsets. The apartment stations have a timed nuisance facility, a strobe output for the hard of hearing and main door open indicator. As with all Alpha systems the full range of accessories may be used to enhance system design and give total flexibility. Originally designed for the disability market the loud speaking apartment station is regularly used in standard door entry applications where a normal handset is not practical. The apartment stations come in a silver anodized finish or vandal resistant stainless steel.
CODED AUDIO - The Alpha Coded Audio system is an integral part of the Alpha family of access control products, combining the benefits of the Alpha Audio door entry and the Deca Digital systems, providing audio door entry for visitors and coded access for regular users. Available in 2 or 100 code versions the Coded Audio systems come in kits for 1-24 way with special panels manufactured to order. Door panels come in a choice of aluminium, stainless steel or polished brass, and for added security there is a weather/spy shield for externally fitted panels and spy shield for internally fitted panels. As part of the Alpha range the coded audio systems benefit from the full range of alpha accessories and add-on's.
VISUAL (BLACK & WHITE) - The Alpha (B & W) Visual door entry system meets today's demands for a highly flexible, easy to install, cost effective, visual door entry system. Using cutting edge camera technology, surface door panels of only 30mm deep have been achieved. The internal monitor/handset uses the latest 4" flat screen, integrated with an Alpha handset to produce a slim, surface unit. Available in kits for up to 24 flats with aluminium, stainless steel or polished brass door panels. A full range of accessories and add-on's are available (ie) Weather Shields, Flushing Bezels, Multi Entrance Switching Units, Timers, Relays, Extension Sounders, Additional Handset/Monitors, Audio Handsets, Flashing Strobe's etc.
VISUAL (COLOUR) - The Alpha Colour Visual door entry system uses the latest 4" TFT Chip On Glass LCD screen giving a superior side angle view and by incorporating the latest colour camera with a wide-angle lens the ultra slim Alpha door panels can be utilized. Automatic back-up illumination is standard with a relay driver output for additional lighting. Available in kits up to 24 flats with aluminium, stainless steel or polished brass door panels. Special panel designs are available and a full range of accessories and add-on's may be used (ie) Weather Shields, Flushing Bezels, Multi Entrance Switching Units, Timers, Relays, Extension Sounders, Additional Handset/Monitors, Audio Handsets, Flashing Strobe's etc.
CODED VISUAL (B-WHITE & COLOUR) - Alpha Coded Visual systems have been designed to fulfil the need to secure all doors, providing the minimum of inconvenience for frequent users, via coded entry and a stopping point for visitors to be dealt with by the audio visual side of the system. Available as black and white or colour in 2 or 100 code versions the Coded Visual systems come in kits for 1-18 way with special panels manufactured to order. Door panels come in a choice of aluminium, stainless steel or polished brass and for added security there is a weather/spy shield for external panels and spy shield for internal panels. As part of the Alpha range the coded visual systems benefit from the full range of accessories and add-on's.

ACCESSORIES

SHIELDS & BEZELS - Weather shields are zinc plated and powder coated steel, to be used for exposed surface door panels. Flush box's are zinc plated with 20mm knockouts and available with stainless steel bezel's to provide extra cover around the box.
EXIT DEVICES - Exit buttons and key switches have a printed stainless steel front plate based on the single electrical back box. Exit buttons are standard or vandal resistant, single or double push and combination push button and key switch units.
SWITCHING UNITS - Multi Entrance units are available for Audio & Visual systems, allowing auto selection of multiple entrances via a single handset. Door Entry/Intercom units are used to interconnect entrance panels with telephone Intercom systems.
CARDS & PROX TAGS - Various swipe cards & prox tags are available including, economy and standard mag swipe cards, butterfly pouches and printed cards for ID, economy, standard and ISO prox cards, economy and standard keyfobs both active and passive.
NEWTON MAG LOCKS - The Newton mag lock is a slim magnet with a holding force of 250kg. Standard, Monitored, Surface, Mortice, Internal, External and Shear locks are available with transom housings and bracket sets for wooden, alloy and glass doors.
LOCK RELEASES - Lock Releases are available as Failsecure (Fail/locked) or as Failsafe (Fail/Unlocked) in 12/24v AC/DC, Standard, Brass and Chrome finish, Surface, Mortice, Sash and Rebate fitting, Single/Double monitored for wood and alloy doors.
POWER SUPPLIES - Both ac or dc power supplies may be used to feed either the Alpha, Deca or Pro Vandal equipment. The 12vac 1.5amp PSU (as packed in kits) for low cost solutions with the 12v dc units for failsafe and battery backup installations.
RELAYS & TIMERS - The Link range provides for a variety of low voltage timers and relays including single shot, delay, intermittent and programmable 7day/24hour timers. With single pole, two pole, four pole, seven pole, fire break and interlock relays.
SPECIAL PANELS - Alarmfix offer a special panel design service and can provide custom built door entry panels complete with a flush fitting back box for any system to any size and with any number of buttons in stainless steel
