The missing link between door and telephone

The wish:   The reality:
Outside a visitor calls at the door – inside you hear the ringing of your normal phone. You can talk to your visitor and open the door for them – using your ordinary public network phone, even cordless.   Siedle DoorCom links any Siedle door communication station with your telecommunication system, whether analogue or ISDN. So receiving door calls at any phone in the house is just the beginning...

All circuit diagrams are schematic representations of the functional structure. In the interests of clarity, they do not encompass the complete device list and wiring, and the power supply is only partially shown.
Siedle DoorCom - analogue and ISDN
DoorCom links door calls with the TC system, which treats door communication like any other connected phone, either on an analogue basis (DCA) or in the ISDN network (DCI and DCIV). Which means that any door call can be forwarded – even to the public telephone network or to a mobile.
Using a suitable video telephone or PC, it is even possible to transmit the image picked up by the door camera. And the connection works in reverse too: DoorCom allows you to call your house and execute remote control functions over your mobile or telephone.
