VidexThe Videx range caters for all needs with systems ranging from a basic unit, with common speech, to a computer controlled, fully isolated, multi-entrance video and/or audio system with the option of concierge facilities.

In addition, the Videx range of self-contained audio and video kits provides users with a one-stop option for installing an access control or door entry system. Videx systems are specified throughout the industrial, commercial and domestic markets. Many local authorities and housing associations use the company's Specialised Range of access control and door entry equipment, whilst the highly innovative Special Needs range has been purposefully designed for disabled, infirm and elderly users. Both audio and video kits (monochrome or colour or with memory facility) are available with codelock or sentry key options, plus the recently added prox card system.

Standard kits are offered in a stainless finish or in aluminium with white and brown options as well as being available with either flush or surface mounted panels. Audio kits are also available with the 280 interface unit, enabling them to be used with standard or cordless telephones. Larger systems are available with many options as the standard range is of a modular format giving extreme flexibility of design. The 800 range consists of modular push button entry panels, panels for access control and advanced Digital Door entry panels. They are used in conjunction with the Series 900 range of audio and video handsets. An extensive range of options is available for customers that enable systems to suit the specific needs of any application. Complete Audio, Video and Access Control systems are also available from Videx. These units provide a virtual one-stop-shop for customers.

To further complement the product range, Videx offers full technical support and free product training, in either London or Newcastle, on all of its products.

  • Modular Push Button

 These entry panels are available with audio or video modules. Customers can choose from a large selection of models that will suit either commercial or domestic applications. Robust and well designed, all units are available in a variety of finishes to suit the specific requirements of a particular project.
 

  • Access Control

 The 800 series also contains a comprehensive range of access control keypad panels. All units are extremely durable and are able to offer exceptional reliability. They are easy to install and use a very simple programming menu with modules that make it possible to store 1-60 user codes (up to eight digits), and to program the relay opening times. Keypad codelocks can be used as 'stand alone' units or can be incorporated with audio and/or video modules.

This continually developing range has recently been expanded to include the new Slim Line Codelocks. Designed for installations where space is limited, they are already proving popular with customers. Other access control systems include the innovative Sentry range.
 

  • Digital Door

 These highly advanced entry panels have been designed using the latest technology and offer unrivalled reliability. Consisting of a clear digital front panel and alpha-numerical keypad display, they can also incorporate a CCD camera for video.

The entry panels are constructed from 12 SWG vandal resistant stainless steel and have been used extensively by Local Authorities and Housing Associations. These door panels form part of the VX range and Sentry Digital range of access control systems.

The 900 series of audio and video intercoms provides a fully comprehensive range of phone handsets for use in conjunction with the 800 Series of door entry and access control panels. Units range from the basic Smart 1 audio handset to the 901 Videophone with black and white or colour screen and memory board. All models are used throughout the commercial and domestic market place.

NEW VIDEOPHONE OFFERS ADDED FUNCTIONALITY - 20th April, 2006

Videx Security has introduced the VK4K Video Phone Kit for its 4000 Series of door entry systems.  The VK4K offers a number of new features that provide greater versatility in operation and greater installation flexibility.

 

The VK4K supports up to two outdoor door entry panels including  a DDA station which will assist organisations in complying with the Disability Discrimination Act.  Up to three additional devices such as an extra video handset, audio handset or an extension sounder can also be fitted in parallel to each videophone.

For ease of use, door panels have both audio and visual status signals:  busy, call in progress, door opening and engaged.  A time adjustable privacy facility is also included at the videophone along with door selectable camera recall and dry contact buttons.

It is also possible to communicate between two internal videophones and a different call tone is incorporated to allow differentiation between internal and external calls.  For added versatility the videophone can also be programmed for specific door opening times or telephone calls.
 
NEW VIDEX VIDEOPHONE ECLIPSES THE COMPETITION - 20th April, 2006

The new Eclipse hands-free Videophone from Videx Security will bring new levels of versatility to the company's range of video door entry systems.  The units are available in both surface and flush and incorporate a colour monitor and hands free full duplex speech for ease of use but have the option to switch into simplex speech when required.
 

The Eclipse provides users with high levels of functionality including speech line and call tone volume as well as colour and brightness controls.  Door-open, camera recall, privacy and on/off latching relays are also featured.

 

Designed to operate using either traditional coaxial cable or non -caox twisted pair, the Eclipse is an ideal complement to Videx Security's  4000 Series of door entry panels. Should it be required, a handset can be specified for the surface mounted version.
